I had a really good glute and hamstring workout today. It feels good when you can feel yourself getting stronger.
I know in 16 days this will change when I have surgery again. But I look at it as another opportunity to build myself back up. After this surgery I can really focus on building myself back I up permanently. I'm excited to finish my last 6 weeks of my CrushIt program with Seneca Greca. If you don't know who she is, look her up on IG. Absolutely amazing!
I do have a mastectomy coming in the near future but will try to push that until later in the year. This is for preventative measures from breast cancer. Having the genetic mutation BRAC1, my chances of developing breast cancer are about 80%.
Back to my workout. I snapped some clips from my videos. I used the Bosu ball for my superset of Squats and Curtsy Reverse Lunges. I used a band for Hamstring Curls and Glute Kickbacks. Dumbbells for Stiffleg Deadlifts, & body weight step ups. Last exercise was body weight squat into a calf raise. 4 sets of 12-15 reps.
